Game Day Protocols

Before you arrive at the field it is understood that prior to your participation: 

  • The player has had no close contact with a sick individual or anyone with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

  • The player has not had a documented case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days.

  • The player is not currently demonstrating or suffering from any ill symptoms.

What does my child need to participate in the program? 

On the Day....

  1. Park all along the many roads that surround the field - Don't crowd, enjoy the fresh air.
  2. Check in by scanning the QR Codes in the entry Zones 
  3. Procced to your designated team area, and your coach will assign your child his / her "Player waiting disk".
  4. Proceed to spectator area, ensuring that you are masked at all times and distancing
  5. At the completion of the game, collect your child and proceed OUT through the exit zones. If this means a longer walk back to your car, its a small price to pay and its good for you ;)
  6. Do NOT arrive at the team entry zone more that 15 minutes before your game. 
  7. Please ensure that MASKS are worn by everyone at all times. 

Game Play

  • 2 X 20-25 minutes halves with a 5 minute half time.

  • No Off-sides.

  • No Use of the head or hands.

  • NO TOUCHING THE BALL AT ANY TIME. (Coaches may retrieve)

  • No Set pieces.

  • Throw-ins are replaced with placing the ball on the ground. 

  • Free kicks may not encourage a “wall”.

  • Corners are throw-ins

  • Opposition players to retreat into their own half of the playing field on goal kicks.

  • NO Parents are allowed to enter the field of play for ANY REASON unless to attend to their injured child. 

  • If a Coach is confronted with an adversarial situation at any time they must seek out Drew or Mark or David or Lyndsay immediately. 

  • No Changing ends at half time.

  • Masks are to be worn by players at all times while waiting to play

  • Players are to return to their waiting disks once a change is made

Covid Modifications

  • Shoulder to shoulder contact is suspended

  • All manner of slide tackling is suspended 

  • No Drop-ball restart

  • Restarts require player distancing of 6 feet

  • No player soccer balls are to be brought to the field

  • Players are required to wear masks at all times both ON and OFF the field of play.

What if we cannot attend a game?  
We are families! We are busy. Its no big deal! We just ask that you do the courtesy of reaching out to your coach to let him or her know. 
What is the cost to participate in the program? 
The Cost to participate in the program is a direct reflection of the basic costs we incur to put the program on. These costs include:

- Field rentals for practices and games ​​
- Shirts for the children
- Equipment to support the program including but not limited to Goals, markers, training assistance tools, Welcome tents and materials, trophies, and any end of season celebration activities that are planned. 
We will from time-to-time offset these costs by sponsorships and these will be directly reflected in the costs of the program.

What do I need to bring for my Child? 

Your child will need the following mandatory items in order to train and play in the program

- Cleats (We are playing on Grass! it will become slippery and muddy under certain conditions)

- Shinpads.

- A mask. 

- A water bottle with name written clearly on it.
