Game Day Protocols
Before you arrive at the field it is understood that prior to your participation:

The player has had no close contact with a sick individual or anyone with a confirmed case of COVID-19.

The player has not had a documented case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days.

The player is not currently demonstrating or suffering from any ill symptoms.
What does my child need to participate in the program?
Game Play
-
2 X 20-25 minutes halves with a 5 minute half time.
-
No Off-sides.
-
No Use of the head or hands.
-
NO TOUCHING THE BALL AT ANY TIME. (Coaches may retrieve)

No Set pieces.
-
Throw-ins are replaced with placing the ball on the ground.

Free kicks may not encourage a “wall”.

Corners are throw-ins
-
Opposition players to retreat into their own half of the playing field on goal kicks.
-
NO Parents are allowed to enter the field of play for ANY REASON unless to attend to their injured child.
-
If a Coach is confronted with an adversarial situation at any time they must seek out Drew or Mark or David or Lyndsay immediately.

No Changing ends at half time.

Masks are to be worn by players at all times while waiting to play

Players are to return to their waiting disks once a change is made
Covid Modifications

Shoulder to shoulder contact is suspended

All manner of slide tackling is suspended
-
No Drop-ball restart
-
Restarts require player distancing of 6 feet

No player soccer balls are to be brought to the field
-
Players are required to wear masks at all times both ON and OFF the field of play.
